Provide for the operation and maintenance of the shared community facilities, for the use and enjoyment of all the lot owners in Oak Borough and Shores of Oak Borough associations.
Club Oak Borough, Inc. (COB) was incorporated in 1984 as a tax exempt company. At this time the following three major facilities were built: Clubhouse, Pool, and Tennis Court. No additional new major facility has been built to date. Since it’s incorporation, COB has supported the ongoing operations and maintenance of the stated facilities, with a volunteer Board of Directors, elected from Oak Borough and Shores of Oak Borough associations. The directors provide critical services to all members, as the majority of HOA dues from both associations come to COB. This is necessary to ensure our shared community facilities and amenities are maintained and operated in an efficient yet quality manner.
The Club Oak Borough Board (COBB) is made up of 8 elected Board of Directors. Each association will elect 4 community members to join the COBB for a term of 3 years. These directors are then granted the rights and privileges to govern the corporation for the benefit of all community members.
As given the right, the COBB voted to hire a Club Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the facilities. This employee provides additional critical services to the community by assisting the COBB in various activities requiring increased time commitment. The Club Manager will often be the key point person should any member, vendor, or visitor require services provided by Club Oak Borough, Inc.
